Introducing ‘I Wish For You’: A new music video from Stephen L Fiske

Dear Friends,

I wanted to share with you my latest music video, “I Wish For You”,  a gift of warm wishes and goodwill to all.

The inspiration behind the song came about when my wife, Nikki and I were flying to Israel, to attend our grandson Lior’s Bar Mitzvah in Jerusalem  I knew I would be performing at the reception, and so on the long 17-hour flight, I was thinking about what song I would perform. I decided to write a song inspired by Lior and the occasion. So during the flight, I wrote a song in my head of what I would wish for him containing Grandfatherly advice. I also envisioned the guitar chords and melody and jotted down the lyrics to “I Wish For You”.

Although the song was inspired by a specific event, I wanted it to have more universality and be uplifting for anyone, anywhere. I performed the song at the Bar Mitzvah to a great response.  Since then the song has risen to the top of my repertoire and I have continued to perform it at all events even at memorial services. With my filmmaking partner Robert Corsini, we have produced this music video featuring my two granddaughters and selected images from many of my adventures and social concerns. The song will be featured on my new upcoming CD to be released this year.
